es gibt wieder was für die augen. hier ist das zweite video aus dem album “passing by”. dieses mal für den song „the soil”. unser soundtrack zum dauerherbst 2011.

es ist soweit. am 25.03.2011 erscheint unser erstes album “passing by”. erhältlich als cd oder download.

wie klingt “passing by”? hör es dir an. wir streamen das komplette album über unsere homepage. einfach unseren player (rechts) benutzen.

um “passing by” zu ordern, einfach über den player gehen oder direkt diesen link zu bandcamp nutzen. das album gibt es als

download-version (wahlweise komprimiert oder unkomprimiert, mit bonus-track “follow”, inkl. artwork) für 7 €

oder als

welcome to our new home, our new website. we think it is only fitting to accompany the release of our album “passing by” with a brandnew website. so go and check it out. look around and find out what is new. of course, all your comments are highly welcome. just go ahead and post it. questions and suggestions are welcome as well.

a new video is online at YouTube. in summer kai recorded a rehearsal and created a video including the new song “rest your weary eyes” and also premixes of “cover me” and “starracer” as a small preview on the forthcoming album “passing by”. you can watch it right here:

yes, we are still here! and a lot has happened. honestly more besides than on court. well, babies were made and born. we have taken timeouts and stepbacks, yet, overcame them. our recordings for the upcoming album have been modified, redefined and put back on track. and this is exactly where we are now: continually working on our debutalbum. we are actively supported by leonard boeck who polishes and puts into shape. we are hopeful this album will not only be good but also done in 2010.

in the meantime we have started writing new songs again. they will probably not make the album. but we will present them on stage. so, closing out this one let us all hope hannover 96 will not have to relegate and we will see and hear each other soon again.

we highly recommend you check out this album! our bassist kessi has gone solo and just released an album named after his project title: motortrack. our singer kai has contributed vocals for three songs. the album has turned out great. to order it you can go over to itunes, for example.

thank you! the grenzgänger-festival was a great success! it truly felt good to be back on stage after a long time and we had a hell of a blast. a review about the entire festival (in german) can be found here.

shortly after the following breaking news were released on rockszene.de: “always expect the unexpected, or at least sometimes. the performance of hanover band soon is now during the grenzgänger-festival on friday was so great that right after the concert promoter living concerts signed the band to open up the upcoming show of the lemonheads on monday, oct. 13.”.

and yes, it’s true! we will be supporting indie-legend the lemonheads from Boston (just remember “mrs. robinson” from the album “it’s a shame about ray”)! you should not miss out on this.
